The price of each artwork is set by Madder and the artist based on various criteria, such as the artist's rating and reputation, the quality of the work, its size, its medium, method of production and so on.
We ship each artwork with a Certificate of Authenticity, which is signed by the artist or a qualified expert, to guarantee you are collecting an authentic work of art. The certificate includes the title, dimension, materials, and all details of the artwork as well as edition series information. As a collector, it will be important to hold onto your certificate as it will help with the future value of the work adding provenance and context around your acquisition of the piece.
An original work is a completely unique piece of artwork. If there is an original work that you love that is no longer available for sale, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. and we can discuss a potential commission for a new original work with the artist on your behalf.
Madder Edition is a work and limited edition sold exclusive by Madder.
For special sizing and commissions, please reach out to email@example.com and we’d be happy to discuss a special size or potential commission for a new original work with the artist on your behalf. Madder will provide the artist creative guidance and will be sure that you are satisfied with the work produced. We’ll also facilitate any payment processing, and shipping requirements.
Delivery & Returns
Once you've placed your order, the artist has 5 business days to confirm that the artwork is available and dispatch it. In most cases, this step proceeds quickly and the artwork is promptly dispatched.
However, there are a few rare cases where the order may be rejected or delayed. For example, the artwork may have been sold in an gallery or at an art fair a few days prior to your order; the artwork may be being exhibited at a fair; or the artist may be unavailable due to a business trip, holidays, and so on. If this is the case, you will be notified and, if applicable, you will be refunded. Our customer service team reviews each case individually and is always on hand to assist you.
Delivery time will depend on your country of residence and where the artwork is being shipped from. As soon as the artist has confirmed your order and shipped your artwork, you'll receive an email indicating the carrier's name, the tracking number, the estimated delivery date and your invoice.

All orders are packaged by hand with special care to protect your artworks by specialised carriers.
Shipping rates are calculated by the size and weight of the package. Please feel free to reach out to email@example.com for any specific shipping questions.
Madder currently ships to Europe, United States and Canada. We are working on bringing Madder everywhere around the world. To allow us to best serve you, please complete the shipping form upon checkout and try to be as detailed as possible, including a phone or mobile contact number is always helpful.
We are unable to ship to PO boxes for liability and insurance reasons. Please provide your full daytime delivery address as well as a contact phone number to ensure smooth delivery.
Please note that once your order arrives in the country of destination, local guidelines apply and your order may be subject to import taxes and local duties. These taxes and duties are not included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer. However, if applicable, we will support with any communication of information with customs as necessary. Please refer to your local postal service for rates or calculate expected duties and taxes.
You can return the artwork without needing to provide a reason or pay a penalty fee up to 14 days after receiving your order. In case the right of withdrawal is exercised in the aforementioned time frame, the price of the artwork(s) purchased and the shipping costs will be reimbursed by us as soon as the artist has received the artwork and notified us. Madder will manage the return of the work and will bear the cost of returns (which will either be paid by you and refunded by Madder or directly paid by Madder). The artwork must be returned in perfect condition and in its original packaging (or equivalent). The buyer exercises his right of withdrawal directly from Madder, by sending an email to the address firstname.lastname@example.org.
